I have worked as an Election Poll Manager for quite a number of years and for various elections including primaries and generals, and for local, state, and national elections.  The voting precinct is truly one of my favorite places to be on election day not only because I love to vote, but also because I enjoy watching citizens exercise their fundamental right to make their voices heard.  Sadly, voter turnout is never what it should or could be. As a native Greenvillian and Furman graduate, I knew how special Travelers Rest was well before my husband and I chose to relocate here so long ago. Over the years I have watched our tranquil little town blossom into the vibrant,  award-winning destination city it is now. I am eager to help Travelers Rest continue this positive momentum with careful planning and a common-sense approach to managing growth. I believe we can preserve our small-town character, sense of community, and natural beauty, while also sustaining a prosperous economy that serves the needs of our city now and well into the future. I am ready to work alongside our city leaders to help shape the future of Travelers Rest and will dedicate myself as your at-large City ...
